In order to ensure the compatibility of optical modules, ETU-Link  has introduced an EDS-510E  Gigabit Ethernet switch, which is designed for severe mission critical applications, such as factory automation, ITS  and process control.  The switch is equipped with 3 Gigabit Ethernet ports and has strong flexibility to build a Gigabit redundant ring network and a Gigabit uplink.
