40G QSFP+ LR4 optical module connection solution
The 40G QSFP+ optical module is a product developed on the basis of QSFP. It has four independent optical signal transmitting and receiving channels, which can transmit data at the same time. It can provide high-density and low-power 40G Ethernet
connection transmission applications for data center, high-performance
computing network, enterprise core layer and distribution layer, as well
as telecom operators.
The laser driver controls the wavelength of arrival, and the optical signal is transmitted together through the multiplexer. At
the receiving end, these transmitted signals are divided into four
channels with transmission rate of 10Gbps by demultiplexer. Then pin
detector or mutual resistance amplifier recovers the data stream and
transmits the optical signal.
40G QSFP+ LR4 and 40G QSFP+ PSM4 optical module
①The 40G QSFP+ LR4
optical module adopts CWDM coarse wavelength division multiplexing
technology, and its working wavelength is 1310nm. It adopts LC duplex
connector, which is usually used together with single-mode fiber, and
the maximum transmission distance is 10km.
②40G QSFP+ PSM4
adopts MPO interface, with working wavelength of 1310nm. It is usually
used together with single-mode fiber, and the maximum transmission
distance is 10km. The 40G QSFP+ LR4 optical module of ETU-Link has the advantages of high density, low cost, high speed, large capacity and low power consumption.
